The LATIN SYNDICATE was born in 2012, a joint venture, under the leadership of Cuban bass player Yasser Pino, with world class musicians from both Cuba and Italy.
The trio consists of Paolo Russo (IT), a versatile artist known for his captivating solo performances on bandoneon and piano, as well as his work in jazz duos, quintets, and classical ensembles. Paolo's dedication and originality shine through in his masterful yet approachable performances, sprinkled with a delicate sense of humor and lightness.
On the contrabass -Yasser Pino, a renowned musician and composer in Copenhagen's vibrant jazz and Latin music scene. Last but certainly not least, we have the multifaceted Cuban percussionist Eliel Lazo, whose illustrious career includes collaborations with renowned artists like Herbie Hancock, Chucho Valdéz, Michel Camilo, and his exciting project, The Cuban Funk Machine. Eliel Lazo's remarkable percussion skills have made him one of the most prolific percussionists in the world today.
